Yes, it makes MORE sense as it is more evident…I had to look real close to see that Arlo had changed! Cheers! T

Now I get it. Wow, I cannot believe the color version masked your intended meaning so well.

OOPS. For once there was a good reason to not “get” one of your strips. I don’t blame you for using this forum on a Saturday to explain. Those guys have a lot of splaining to do!

I thought it was just another one where I was too dense or out of touch to understand.
    Thank you.

Me too! I thought it might be one of those “can you spot the difference” strips!

On my monitor Arlo’s jacket in the last panel is a dark grey versus Janis’ blue/black but it’s easy to miss. It did take me a moment or two before I registered the difference and got the punchline.

    Cheers,
    Tom

I meant in the colorized version if that wasn’t obvious! :-)

I figured it out (as Gojira). There was a subtle difference in the last panel, probably because it wasn’t colored over black, but it wasn’t as obvious as it should have been.

Every few seconds it changes – up an eighth, down an eighth -it’s like playing a slot machine. I lose $20 million, I gain $20 million.
A final test of an leader is the fact that he results in him in other men the conviction along with the will to continue.

I just thought this was another one of Jimmy’s sly little attempts at showing us he’s been peeking in our windows. I had to look hard but I did see that Arlo had changed clothes.
