I’m sorry; I don’t have much time today. Those cartoons don’t draw themselves, you know. Y’all play nice!

I have said plenty of things to both of my kids, but the truth is that they observe more than listen. I guess I am not that bad of a person as both kids came out pretty normal, in spite of their old man.

I figure, if my kids are going to rebel against me, then I’m going to stay weird so they’ll rebel and be normal….

I just got a message from a friend talking about how old she felt and how sore she is after jogging 5 miles this morning. I just had to send her today’s strip. I hope she will start to listen soon.

Or, as the Ankh-Morepork Times once typoed it, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you flee.”

BTW, I just took a look at Frank and Ernest. Anybody who doesn’t understand it is a full-blown ID10T! You don’t need to remember the classic Warner Bros. cartoons to get it, it’s clear from the picture.

    Warner Bros.?

Or, Dave in MA, they might just try to be weirder. Trust me on this one.

Variations on that gag were used in a number of classic Warner Bros. cartoons, usually involving Bugs Bunny.

Especially any chase involving snow! My favorite sequence involved Elmer and Bugs leaving silhouettes of themselves in a snowbank much like paper dolls.

The truth shall set you free, but first it will make you miserable.

Hey! It’s gloomy and rainy here and I haven’t had my coffee, that’s as cheery as it gets! :-)
