I have said plenty of things to both of my kids, but the truth is that they observe more than listen. I guess I am not that bad of a person as both kids came out pretty normal, in spite of their old man.

I just got a message from a friend talking about how old she felt and how sore she is after jogging 5 miles this morning. I just had to send her today’s strip. I hope she will start to listen soon.

Or, as the Ankh-Morepork Times once typoed it, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you flee.”
BTW, I just took a look at Frank and Ernest. Anybody who doesn’t understand it is a full-blown ID10T! You don’t need to remember the classic Warner Bros. cartoons to get it, it’s clear from the picture.

Variations on that gag were used in a number of classic Warner Bros. cartoons, usually involving Bugs Bunny.

Especially any chase involving snow! My favorite sequence involved Elmer and Bugs leaving silhouettes of themselves in a snowbank much like paper dolls.

The truth shall set you free, but first it will make you miserable.
Hey! It’s gloomy and rainy here and I haven’t had my coffee, that’s as cheery as it gets!
