In the 90s especially, I did a number of sequential strips, storylines running usually two weeks or less. They were popular with a lot of readers, and occasionally someone will criticize me for abandoning the continuing strips for the "gag-a-day" format I favor these days. I say the latter has always been a part of my repertoire, and--who knows?--I might get back to telling stories someday.
