I know my site updates have been a bit spotty for several weeks—this after I announced the end of “summer hours”—but I think I can assure you it’ll begin to get better next week. Those of you who come here with any regularity know this is a highly individual effort involving no one but myself. Sometimes, things just get in the way. In fact, it might amaze some of you that I’ve been maintaining a Web site in one form or another for  over 10 years. It amazes me, and I have no intention of going away anytime soon. Some times will be livelier than others, however. In fact, I’m looking forward to sprucing up this place and adding some new features. But you’ve heard me say that before, too. Anyway, I hope you enjoy today’s old cartoon from ten years ago.
