It isn't unusual for me to get a letter from a reader saying they thought A&J was a better strip during this period, when I would tackle more complex storylines. I don't disagree with them necessarily. It is a different strip these days as I try to concentrate more on the art and the wit.  I'm just a cartoonist doing the best I can.
