As everyone, even Arlo, knows by now, Comet ISON is history. When I drew the comet strips now appearing in newspapers, it was before ISON’s perihelion, which the four billion-year-old comet did not survive. Alas. I was hoping to be talking with you today about a once-in-a-lifetime cosmic spectacle. Indeed, I was so pumped up I committed myself to drawing an extra strip this week! All was not lost, though; I learned the word “perihelion.” Plus, it’s been fun toying with time and space, and I thank you for indulging me.
For any newcomers here, this is blog is the personal effort of me, the creator of Arlo & Janis. Several days a week, I will post an old A&J comic strip and anything else that comes to mind. Thanks for visiting, and come back to see me!
