It’s not the policy of this establishment to divulge personal information about our clientele, but I’m going to make an exception today. “Neal in Bahstawn” is Neal Sanders, and he’s a mystery writer. Neal has given me some particularly useful leads about bookstores in the Bahs… I mean, the Boston area, for which I’m grateful. Also, even though I charged him full price for my book, he sent me a free copy of one of his favorite efforts, Murder Imperfect. I sat down with it one Saturday morning and spent the rest of the day reading it. It was well written and very entertaining and left me with a lot to think about. You can read the opening passages of Murder Imperfect on Neal’s Web site. Hey, Neal! Maybe since Robert B. Parker is no longer with us, perhaps you could mention A&J in every one of your books from now on!
