Can you search a document on “Kindle” or similar reading devices? Could you type in, say, “heaving bosom?” That could save reading a lot of dreary prose.

I don’t feel compelled to explain or defend anything I said yesterday, which was, in a nutshell, “Gee, oil is important; maybe wise use of it should be part of our thinking.” I do want to clarify one thing. I know the oil companies exist for profit. They are without dispute the most profitable companies that have ever existed. To be more precise, I meant pursuit of “quarterly” profit seems short-sighted. In an area this vital, we should look further down the road than three months. Or maybe not! What do I know?
