One of the most ambitious and effective private relief efforts in Pass Christian is organized and run by members of Pinelake Church, a Baptist congregation from Brandon, MS, near Jackson. They have a large tent with canned goods, baby necessities, ice, water and cleaning supplies. As of Tuesday, they had distributed the contents of 15 tractor-trailer trucks and countless smaller vehicles, all goods donated by people in the Jackson area.
