Another American, although I think Scrooge McDuck is a native of Scotland. These people are lining up to see an exhibition sponsored by a European humor magazine, Picsou. I told you about Babar the Elephant being an early influence on me. Scrooge McDuck, the immortal creation of Carl Barks, was another. This is my favorite exhibit of the festival so far. It displays beautiful, full-page drawings by Barks for Scrooge McDuck comic books, books I owned as a kid.
