Since it’s the Week of Big News, I might as well break it to you. I’ve been dreading this. The much-ballyhooed book deal of last year fell through. I’m not sure why. I was never told. However, it would appear United Media and NewSouth Books could not cross the t’s and dot the i’s of the minute details, which I implied were foregone conclusions. The book thing is back to “square one.” I apologize if I jumped the gun by announcing it.
