So much as been said about it that I’m not going to say a lot here, but as of this writing eight of the miners in Chile are out of the ground. You have to feel good for those guys. A lot of the morbid fascination with this story comes from imagining oneself in that predicament: trapped half a mile underground for months, the claustrophobic ride to the surface in that makeshift bullet-like contraption, being in the fresh air and sunlight again. Sheesh! Just imagine.
