This is a very pleasant and popular corner cafe known as le Chat Noir, and it sports the famous poster cat prominently on its facade. What really tickles me about this corner, though, is another establishment, a little bar to the left of le Chat Noir, just out of view in the above photograph. It’s a great little hole in the wall to have a glass of inexpensive French wine.

Sign me up!!! Lived in Belgium for 5 years — loved going to little hole-in-the-wall places. Also, owned a Twingo like the red car in the picture, only mine was electric blue. Loved that car.
