A pithy comic strip about life, love, lust and puthy cats.

Extra, Extra!

With both hands, too

I thought I’d conclude this week’s trip down memory lane with an old cartoon about good times. I’ve heard through the grape vine that sales of Rheta’s memoir, Enchanted-Evening Barbie and the Second Coming, have spiked because of our discussion here. I’m glad, and I consider that a personal favor. Of course, there’s still time to buy it!

It actually has been a relief this week to talk about old problems that no longer matter. It has taken my mind off a situation I have not even wanted to contemplate: the oil spill approaching the U.S. Gulf Coast. This is bad juju, my friends,  baaaaaad juju. Even the important authority-types we depend upon to tell us everything is under control are not saying anything of the sort. We will know the true nature of this disaster within days, it appears. Have a good weekend.
