I got some criticism for this one from a few women. They were making the point that such attention isn’t warranted under the circumstances, even from a loving spouse. I totally understand, but in my defense I think Janis’ reaction makes that very point. As for Arlo, he’s not intended to be perfect; he’s a cartoon character. I guess the people who complained didn’t think it was funny. That part is more subjective, although I didn’t think it was all that funny myself.
