Well, the French fries were a soggy disaster. Oh, they tasted all right, I suppose, but they weren’t the crispy light-beams of goodness that I’d envisioned. I was cooking supper for my brother’s family, in honor of his birthday, which is today, by the way. I wanted to impress the niece and the nephew with my fries. Well, I understand Julia Child said, “Never apologize.” Do you think this blog would make a good movie?

And thank you for not getting on my case for taking a couple of days off. I hope you had a good Easter!
