It seems as if it has been a harsh winter around here, but I think what we’re experiencing really is a more typical winter. The past few have been uncommonly mild. This year, it’s been cold but not record-breaking cold, and rain has returned in significant measure to the southeastern U.S. That’s a relief. In these parts, we always have spring-like days interspersed among the winter months, but today is not one of them. I have a tiny electric heater under my drawing table for days such as this, and it’s going full blast. Now if I could just come up with a cartoon idea…
