A pithy comic strip about life, love, lust and puthy cats.

“Why don’t you trust me?!”

Flashbacks such as this one, flights of imagination and surreal whimsy always are fun to draw, because, let’s face it, a lot of what passes for action in Arlo and Janis takes place on the sofa or at the kitchen table. The strip would be a lot duller for all of us if I couldn’t bust loose now and then.

Concerning youthful indiscretion, I was given a lot of freedom by my parents to roam at will, within certain boundaries that were more understood than specified. Maybe this was possible, because I really was not a wild child. Still, things happened the memory of which raise the hairs on my neck today. It’s a wonder any of us survived.
