Flashbacks such as this one, flights of imagination and surreal whimsy always are fun to draw, because, let’s face it, a lot of what passes for action in Arlo and Janis takes place on the sofa or at the kitchen table. Concerning youthful indiscretion, I was given a lot of freedom by my parents to roam at will, within certain boundaries that were more understood than specified.
