All you dog lovers out there, meet Boofus, Ben and Nettie’s hound. The couple did not have a cat nor did they have a child. They had a dog. I think I actually may have resurrected this gag years later, in Arlo and Janis. I know I thought about it. What’s with Nettie’s weird hairdo? What was I thinking? I’d hate to have to draw that convoluted mop every day!
