Ten years before the Big Crash, in September of 1998, I called it. Well, I sort of called it, but I’ve been saying this kind of thing all my adult life. Say anything long enough and often enough, and sooner or later you’ll be right.

Speaking of prescience, today’s Ground Hog Day cartoon is spot-on as well, but when I drew it a few weeks ago, it did not take a crystal ball to know February wasn’t going to be pretty.

There’s been a lot written here recently about the early days of arloandjanis.com, and it finally sank in that I’ve been maintaining some kind of A&J-related Web site for eight years. Eight years! How is that possible?
