It has been brought to my attention that The Knoxville News Sentinel recently concluded a comics survey of its readership, and Arlo and Janis did quite well, thank you very much. In fact, A&J finished fourth overall among a list of comic features that is rather lenghthy by today’s standard. I want to thank the readers of The News Sentinel and the readers who brought the survey to my attention. Oh, before I forget, you can read all the details here. Tennessee always has been very good to me. For years, A&J has run in the newspaper in every major city in the Volunteer State. No wonder I always liked Davy Crockett so much.
