I kind of like Janis’ ‘do in this strip from January, 2003. It’s probably the cartooniest coiffure she’s ever had, and it worked all right. I tend to agree with her about Arlo’s idea, too, although it really was my idea.

I know you’ve been speculating, reading the coffee stains on my post, divining what I meant exactly. Let me say it unequivocally: Beaucoup Arlo & Janis has been put to bed, as we used to say in the newspaper biz. It has gone to the printer, lock, stock and pixel. Please, no more champagne and toasts. We sorta went through that earlier this week. I just wanted to make it official.
