I will let this 2007 cartoon be my contribution to the eulogizing of Mr. Steve Jobs. I’m not trying to be glib, but I am reminded: some of you with longer memories may be wondering how my coversion to a Mac laptop fared last year. Well, I’m afraid it didn’t take. I’ve fallen all the way back to my Dell desktop, upon which I now write. The Mac laptop is a really great piece of hardware, though. I use it to watch movies and surf the Web. I confess, however, I must use Windows software on the partitioned hard drive. The Mac side quit working, which I was assured could never happen. Mr. Jobs had long moved on to inventing other things by the time I purchased my Mac, though. I don’t blame him. I am saddened by his untimely passing.
