ho there! We’re as happy as can be!
I’m guessing an uncommonly large percentage of visitors to this website view it on a desktop monitor. Just a hunch. Still, I’m aware a lot more of you probably see it on a phone–or try to see it. I’m still having trouble making this site visible on a “mobile device.” I had it in the bag for a little while yesterday, but then the bag burst. Pixels everywhere! It was a real mess. But I won’t quit!
You can help me by remembering this new version of the old blog is just the beginning. I’m working to get us back where we were, but I don’t plan to stop there. It’s going to be so much fun! Now if you will excuse me, I perhaps should coax the cats from under the bed and pet them and talk softly to them and give them treats. It’s been a long few days.

Is there a reason for having this smaller comment box & identification place here, while a larger comment box & identification place is below?
Will we always have two pages each day? I ask since earlier comments made this morning are on a different page (your 2 instead of this, 1).
Keep your feet up to stay dry and your head down to avoid flying debris, y’all. No need to emulate a bat, though!
I am a fresh graduate, do you need a VA (virtual assistant) or technical assistant?
Best regards,
glad to have the site up again!
Desktoper here… I prefer the larger screen for viewing and an actual keyboard for typing… I guess I am just a dinosaur, but I’m OK with that!
Me, too, Emma. I annoy others in my household by referring to my rig as “the real computer.” How Jurassic is that?
Laptop of goodly size. My recliner, here, is more comfortable than the chair at the desktop device.
‘I annoy others in my household by referring to my rig as “the real computer.” ‘
As do I. But since an incompetent neurosurgeon rendered me gimpified 4 years ago, I also keep my laptop – once only used when travelling – on the dining room table so I may go on (as I am now) without hobbling upstairs to my study/music room to the real computer.
My silly sons mock me for not doing everything on a phone (which I would not do even if it weren’t a flip-phone…..)
I personally watch on my iPad and it looks quite good this morning!
Comments for me on the same page, so that’s probably different than on pc.
I still use a pc (laptop) for serious stuff though, like taxes and administration, but for all the fun stuff on the internet, the iPad is the ticket.
I’m glad to hear that. I haven’t even gotten around to adjusting for tablet-viewing yet!
Desktop with a big monitor. My old eyes need the help! I need my readers to read the phone.
Looks fine on my tablet too. (Not the newest model of Microsoft Surface Go – their budget version)
Except now I don’t see the way to go to previous pages, which I could swear I saw before my other post!
I’ve been concentrating on the comments section the past day or so. It’s coming along. Next, I’ll work on the archives; I hope you’ll see some real improvements there.
Looks good on my big iPad. I haven’t had a real computer in years.
JJ: Would you kindly tell us what the unknown message must have been in the strip you ran on April 12, 2012? I see that, still, no one seems to have figured it out.
Thank you.
Ice=Mice ?
I do my comic reading on my desktop. Don’t have a laptop and with my nearsightedness, a 27 inch monitor is better than a 6 inch phone screen. Besides, the bigger the picture, the better we can all see Jimmy’s artwork.
