They’re all different colors!

This situation was about to get embarrassing for all of us. The A&J cartoons running in newspapers this week are repeats, but only a handful of you have suspected. John wrote this morning to say the cartoon in today’s paper definitely is a repeat; it’s one of his favorites. It’s one of my favorites, too, John.

I thought all of you would catch on immediately, and we’d have a good laugh about it Tuesday. When that didn’t happen, I thought, “Well, maybe nobody will notice!” O’, what a tangled web we weave.

The fact is, I took a week off in April to rest my hands, as I did about a year ago. They still are afflicted with painful stiffness and numbness that make drawing problematic. It’s a little better lately, and life goes on.
