I try not to talk about the weather here too much, but you’re going to do it anyway, so I’ll mention that winter finally has arrived in the deep south. It was 23 degrees this morning. I know for some of you that isn’t bad at all, and it’s not unusual here. This winter has been so mild, however, that 23 degrees has come as quite a shock to all, especially the blooming tulip poplars and forsythia which had been lulled into a false sense of security. Well, we did get to enjoy them, just a little earlier than usual.

Thank you, Jackson and Lemuria! The signing Saturday was super. I did not get to sample any barbecue, though. Boy, that place has grown!
