This cartoon from August, 1999, has been repeated on the Web site before, but I like it, and it’s particularly appropriate for what has been a busy, unusual week. I’m not going to talk about hurricanes, except to say this year’s “K” storm has appeared. That would be “K,” as in Katrina. This year it’s Tropical Storm Kirk, and here is the good news. All those people living in the middle of the North Atlantic should begin emergency preparations now! Hey, what happened to “Joyce?”
