Rise and whine

This is my favorite time of year, no doubt. Spring is nice, too, with all that nascent beauty and promise, but spring is tempestuous and unpredictable. In autumn, particularly in October, you just know the days are going to be perfect. You wouldn’t notice the leaves turning here yet, but it’ll begin any day now. The flies and mosquitoes are slowing down, and the evenings are perfect for sitting out. In fact, the weather is so nice it has given me a much-needed boost, and I’ve been busy from sun-up to sun-down on various projects, so busy I’ve not had time to think about anything to talk about here other than the weather.
