The A&J comic strip running in newspapers today deals with Veteran’s Day and veterans of World War I in particular. Already, someone on the Gocomics site has commented on the Christmas Truce of 1914. Since we’re on the cusp of the holiday season and because it happens to be one of my favorite stories, I thought I’d pass along the link the poster was kind enough to include, a link to information about the Christmas Truce of 1914.

As for the retro strip today, it is the conclusion of the barbecue series that was running last week. I had intended to post it Friday, but you know how it goes.
