Sorry about not posting yesterday. The upcoming holiday has my production schedule all bollixed up. I did go back and post a link to yesterday’s newspaper A&J, for those of you who might not have found your way there yet.

Production schedules notwithstanding, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It is our purest holiday, I like to think. Officially, it is the beginning of full-tilt boogie Christmas shopping, but by so being the Thursday of Thanksgiving itself is overlooked and remains mostly untainted by commercialism. Plus, the whole point is to get together with friends and family for a feast of gratitude and humility. If that’s not a great holiday, what is?
