A pithy comic strip about life, love, lust and puthy cats.

Every move you make

It’s been interesting looking back through the proofs of old strips, cherry-picking material to show you here. I knew A&J has changed a lot. I knew the old artwork would be very different, that the characters would look different. I expected the writing to be a bit fresher, if a bit sloppier. However, I was surprised how much mellower the strip has become. Janis’ personality has changed the most. She definitely has mellowed. Gene has, of course, grown up and essentially moved on, taking with him all those great little-kid gags.  Not necessarily good things from a cartoonist’s perspective. In the coming days and weeks, you’ll see what I mean.

The auctions end this evening! The bidding is fabulous. The folks in Camp Hill will be able to furnish a lot of rice and beans, thanks to you people.
