As you’ve probably noticed, I posted rather hurriedly yesterday. The link to the current A&J comic strip at comics.com was not working, and there was sloppy copy in the comments.
I hope our friends in the northeast, whether they can read this or not, are bearing up as well as possible. I went through the February ice storm of 1994 in north Mississippi, and it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Freezing rain left 3-6 inches of ice over most of the northern half of the state, causing over $2 billion in damages, and I’m not being facetious when I say that, in mostly rural north Mississippi, that’s a lot of damage. Ice storms are as terrible as they are beautiful.
