This old Sunday effort from 1989 isn’t exactly my idea of a truly memorable Arlo & Janis, but I guess it caught my attention, because I’m in the market for a new weed whacker myself. The old rechargeable electric model, executioner of many a dandelion, has fought the good fight, but it’s in danger of being overwhelmed. I could use something with a “deforestation” setting. I’m ambivalent about strapping a roaring, gas-guzzling, pollution-spewing, flora-savaging engine to my person, all for the sake of grooming the odd stray twig, but, well… There is all that power! Aren’t you always asking where I get my ideas?
