I thought, given the new guidelines recommending still wider use of statin drugs, that this cartoon from this month five years ago might be appropriate. I think a lot of folks who have experienced heart issues, which would include myself, will relate to Arlo in the above strip. Especially for the first few weeks and months following an “episode,” everyone looks at you with a worried expression if you so much as burp. At least someone cares. As for drugs and treatment, I’m not going to get into that. I’m going to leave that to you.
