The above cartoon was a companion to the strip that appeared here April 8. Dancing has always been popular with cartoonists, because it is an opportunity to cut loose and have fun, not unlike real dancing. Let’s face it, two-dimensional drawings are static by nature, and dancing is one sure-fire way of defying that inertia. What cartoon dancers can you name?
