The desert-island scenario is a classic genre of the old magazine-cartoon trade. I suppose this is my contribution.

A word about comments: the way it’s supposed to work, your comments on this page should post immediately, unless you’ve never posted before, in which case your comment will be held for moderation, that is, until I get around to reading and approving it. I have noticed that a few comments made by returning visitors have been held up, as well. I don’t know why this has happened. All I can think to tell you is, bear with me.
