Ay, there’s the rub

By the way, the appearance at the Mobile Public Library Tuesday evening was a big success. There was a great crowd, great in every sense, and I thank those of you who came out. A few of those from the community here were in attendance! Nick Chick was there. Hurd was there. (While we’re on the subject of Hurd, he brought me ribs from his restaurant in Bay Minette, Brothers BBQ, and they were delicious! Maybe next time he’ll bring enough for everybody.) I know I’ve left someone out, and I apologize, but speak up if you were there. Let us know!

I’m not resting, either. Saturday I’ll be at Cold Water Books in Tuscumbia, Alabama, at 2:30 p.m. Monday, I’ll be at Gum Tree Bookstore in Tupelo, Mississippi, at noon, and Tuesday I’ll be at the Iuka Public Library in Iuka, Mississippi, at noon. Y’all come!
