Redman in the Big O has been trying to stir up mischief, and today he succeeds. He’s been goading me to say something about college football, and I’ve told him, “I’m done with it!” See yesterday’s cartoon. It pretty much sums up my position. However, since he brought it up, you want to know what makes Auburn people crazy? (And there are a lot of people who wonder.) There was the Auburn team last week, the defending national champions with the longest winning streak in college football, victors in their first game of the season, and the Tigers weren’t even ranked in the Top 25. There’s an old saying I’ve always enjoyed, “Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean someone’s not out to get you.” There, Redman, I hope you’re happy.
