One thing is inevitable. Some day in the not-very-distant future, Cuba will change in ways that most would consider for the better. Cubans in Cuba look forward to that day, but they are very proud and are ambivalent about any change they feel is being pushed upon them from the outside. That's the impression I got from the people I met, anyway.
