I am often asked if I studied art. The answer is no. I accidentally chose a better curriculm to prepare me for producing a comic strip. I have a liberal arts degree in journalism. However, I do wish I had taken some art courses and maybe a few business courses. I think the point’s been made by others here: no matter what you eventually do, a cross-section of basic subjects will serve you well.
