The book-signing “tour” kicked off Saturday afternoon at The Gnu’s Room in Auburn. It was standing room only; however, just between you and me, The Gnu’s Room is a pretty small place. It was great fun, and I enjoyed it immensely, which was a relief, because—again between you and me—I was a little nervous. Having several million people see my work in the newspaper every day? No big deal! Speaking to a group of four dozen people? That’s an entirely different matter. “Ginger from Auburn” was there! I’m happy to report she didn’t seem very weird at all.
