GWTW: Best-laid plans

I’m glad Auburn won but not for the obvious reasons. Winning is liberating. If Auburn had lost the big football game last night, especially as close as it was, I would feel terrible this morning. As it is, the spell is lifted. A new day dawns, and my fortunes are unchanged. I can look back and ask myself, “What was that all about?” That’s how it is with me, anyway. Congratulations to the Ducks on a fine season, and congratulations to the young men of Auburn University, my alma mater.

I was thinking we’d looked at this old GWTW send-up recently, but my search engine assures me we haven’t. That’s good enough for me. Sorry, Margaret.
