Another springtime cartoon. I think maybe this limmerick has run here before, but I like it. Spring remains wet and cool down south, but—I remind myself—that’s much better than hot and dry, always a distinct possibility. I pan-fried bass and bream from a local pond last evening. They were tasty enough, but I was disappointed in the cook’s effort. Fish has always been problematic for me; it’s got to be one of the trickiest foods to cook properly. If anyone has any tips, let’s hear ’em.
