That crane collapse in New York City was a horrible scene. I can imagine. When I was making one of my infrequent visits to the home office of United Media last month, I stayed in a hotel on First Ave., a block from the disaster site. One of my favorite places to hang out was the Brassierie Montparnasse on 51st St. Between the restaurant and my hotel, I walked beneath that crane many times. Never gave it a thought. That would be the Turtle Bay area of Manhattan, as I understand it.
