Why didn’t somebody tell me that putting out a book is so much work? My routine lately has been to get up very early in the morning and work on the book in the quiet hours. By breakfast, I’m pretty much exhausted, but then the normal day begins. Lately, in the deadline crunch, I return to working on the book after breakfast. I might as well tell you, it’s already a few days overdue at the printer, but I’m struggling to honor the late-October release date. I think I just might make it.
