Granted, even in 1998, 20 bucks wouldn’t have been considered much money to cut most lawns. I’m assuming it was the “family rate,” that special rate that instills character and takes advantage of captive labor at the same time. Or I simply can fall back on that old stand-by, “artistic license.” That is, I can’t be expected to pay attention to all the little details!
