I managed to bollocks up the Web project further Saturday and then my work schedule overtook me, again. I haven’t had time to do anything about it until today. So, I’m posting this old favorite and giving you a chance to roam around in a familiar environment and maybe visit. I know. It’s just a Web site. There are supposed to be over a billion of them on the internet; the exact number is impossible to know. But this one is mine, ours, and I hope we’ll be living with it a long time. I just want it to be right. Thanks for your patience.

I’ve found placing a water-bottle on the bedside table before retiring a great way to avoid the hike through the parched desert after midnight. Also, by using a bottle with a lid I’ve avoided the inevitable mess I would have had if I left a glass in the same place. (My late/early coordination isn’t as good as it is when the sun is shining.)
Also good if you have a couple of thirsty, insolent cats.
Since we got an indoor cat, we use Margaritaville Tervis containers at bedside to keep the cat drinking from her own water bowl. 😮
They were a bargain when you bought T-shirts at Jimmy Buffett’s place a couple of years ago.
The only water I keep at bedside is gallon jugs of distilled water to refill my CPAP humidifier.
Thank you for putting up a navigable interim site. Some days I don’t have time to get to the page, and it is nice to be able to thumb back through to see days I missed. I appreciate the effort you are putting into making something for your community!
Mayor JJ, perhaps you meant “bollix”. There is a distinct difference….
Meanwhile, thanks for this interim site. I miss it when it’s gone.
Dictionary.com defines “bollocks up” as to foul something up. I’m aware of the other definitions, but on a busy morning one citation is good enough for me! Nevertheless, thanks for your interest and kind words.
I wonder if there is a local college or university that might have a young person that can help you? I mean a chance to work with a world renown artist! ….Otherwise they work cheap. What you are doing here is a bit more complicated than most websites, but there are plenty of them out there, so I hope someone will come to your aid.

For your copious free time, see the link above.
Maybe JJ should reboot the web page to a simpler model:

And I like the title you gave this one. I have been partial to that song ever since I first heard it. And for those who don’t know it, here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bjzuSO27fA
Re 2-26-19 cartoon: “Don’t listen to atoms…they make up everything.”

Wow! So many great words/phrases!
Dare I add a family favorite? SNAFU
Just saw that the other bald eaglet at Berry College, GA, died overnight. One wonders why, and whether or not the parents can/will start over. Last year, if I recall, Decorah north pair started again and had at least one live birth, but, it being too late in the season, the thing was killed by flying insects. Feel free to correct this if I didn’t remember correctly.
I do not ingest water at night – might take pickle juice for cramps.
On the other hand there is a demand to divest myself of dihydrogen monoxide.
I put Janis’ problem (02/26/19) down to the increase of gravity ever since they
stopped Atomic Testing. Those born after then don’t notice the increase,
but those of use born before certainly do!
It is harder to get out of bed – and just look what it did to my chest.
Thanks for the comments on getting to previous days in the Village. Today I have nice links to the titles of Jimmy’s previous posts with all the comments. Perfect.
I know what you are going through. I did that for a living for a little less than 40 years.
