How do you think we’re going to watch movies in the near future? Streaming, you say? Yeah, me, too. As I mentioned not long ago, I brought home a little wireless device called “Roku” that lets me access Netflix and other stuff on my regular TV, and it works really well. I know: there are many ways of doing this and have been for some time, but the point is, old people such as myself are getting around to it. And the old “Movie Gallery” storefront in my local village sits empty and for rent. The future, or at least a sliver of it, has arrived. The future has a way of not hanging around, though. I wonder where it’s all going. I don’t watch a lot of television in the warm months, but the long cold nights will be upon us soon, and I guess it has me planning my winter programming: storing nuts, so to speak.
