How was your weekend? Good, I hope. Remember comics.com? You know, that’s the United Media Web site where you go for the Arlo and Janis comic strip that’s running in papers today. Well, there are big changes coming to comics.com. For one thing, the premium subscription plan will be abandoned altogether. In my opinion, the most significant thing about this change will be the ability of anyone to search the entire comic archives. Pretty cool, huh?

Also, visitors will be able to leave comments there, too. The nice people (and they really are nice!) at United Media made a special call to inform me of these changes. They asked if I were familiar with blogging and RSS feeds and all that new-fangled stuff. I’ve been telling you people, I fly way under the radar here. The changes take effect Nov. 1.
