I don’t really remember, but this comic strip from 2005 looks suspiciously like one of those occasions where I was stuck for an idea and just started drawing funny little pictures, a time-honored cartoonist technique that more often than not produces good results. Charles M. Schulz was an outspoken proponent of this trick.
